This paint series Relation: A Series of Human Engagement with the Cosmos has three pieces that can be placed or explored in any order. It aims to depict the ways we engage with and express being. 

Since I view the world as a space of constant relations, depicting the dialects of existing was an important part of designing this series. 

If we view the cosmos as a series of somethings that we constantly relate to and from, we can be reminded that the universe is more like a friend or an extension of ourselves rather than something domineering or distant.

In this series, I hoped to highlight three ways of engaging with the universe: presence, curiosity, and faith. Each explores approaches to existence and our understanding of how the cosmos is organized. 

In short, this is a series on being within and a part of something greater than just us. This triptych asks us to remember our relationship to being human and how inviting experience in these friendly ways can allow us to be more gentle people.
