During a period of loss, McKay pondered what a ‘good life’ meant. This piece revealed that, despite endings, life is about celebration and joy. A well-lived life embraces experiences within the context of impermanence, recognizing that while things end, we are surrounded by beginnings, beauty and opportunities for play.
