Allegory of a Life Well-Lived, 2024 mixed media on canvas. 3'x3'
"Created during a time of prolonged loss, I consistently asked myself what it meant to live a ‘good life’. My answer was this piece. This piece taught me that despite the persistence of endings, life continues to be a place of celebration, joy and play. To me, a life well-lived means a life thats been enjoyed, experienced, and contextualized within the framework of impermanence without judgment. Things end and they begin, but ‘the powerful play goes on, and you may contribute a verse’"
Enjoy this playlist of songs that inspired the piece, or that I enjoyed while making it :)
